Infiltration of Storm Water in Piedmont Soils
EDI has monitored several sites to track long-term infiltration performance in sandy clay soils, as found throughout the Piedmont. This research will be presented in an upcoming issue of Storm Water magazine.
Plunge Pool Research, Charlotte NC
Surveys of 17 plunge pools were made to determine the physical dimensions. The dimensions were correlated with stormwater flow to yield design equations for sizing storm drain outlet plunge pools in the Carolina Piedmont.
